THE HOUSE OF AJ

AJ Jewelry was established in May 2015 by Alanoud and Aljazi Althunayan. The Saudi born sisters were brought up in the city of Alkhobar, where they both currently live. Their mother and father both artistically aware, taught them to appreciate art and culture, regularly travelling with them to visit galleries and
museums around the world as they grew up. They then went on to study art during school breaks to
develop their skills in drawing and design.

They both went on to study business and qualified with a Bachelors degree in Finance at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd University. Soon after graduating they realized quickly that their passion for creativity would have to be merged with any future career. Entrepreneurship runs deep in the family, so it was not long before they saw an opportunity in the market to explore: jewelry.

Culturally, they grew up around the giving and receiving of precious items as a sign of love care and
support. These are values that they deeply share with their family. Yet, they saw that designs and brands in the market were dull and were not relevant to their new generation. They saw that there was room for a new point of view. That’s when AJ Jewelry came to life and they later released their first fine jewelry piece that business took off.

AJ Jewelry is designed for the every day, playfully stacked, mixed, matched and collected. In essence to
redefine how a new generation wears fine jewelry. The AJ collection continues to evolve each piece
designed in house and made by craftsmen to the highest quality.
